Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a new class of antimicrobial agents. In particular, this disclosure provides the identification and characterization of novel spiro-lactam compoundsas anti-HIV/AIDS and anti-malarial agents. Furthermore, this disclosure also provides the preparation of spiro-β-penicillanic acids, which proved to be potent inhibitors of HIV.

La présente invention concerne une nouvelle classe d'agents antimicrobiens. La présente invention concerne particulièrement l'identification et la caractérisation de nouveaux composés spiro-lactames, anti-VIH/SIDA et agents antipaludiques. La présente invention concerne également la préparation d'acides spiro-bêta-pénicillaniques, qui se sont avérés être des inhibiteurs puissants du VIH.
