Title
(EN) D-amino acid histatin-based peptides as anti-fungal and anti-bacterial agents
Abstract
(EN)

D-amino acid histatins and histatin-based peptides histatins and methods for treatment of fungal or bacterial infection are described. These D-amino acid histatins and histatin-based peptides are longer-acting anti-fungal or anti-bacterial agents than their L-enantiomeric analogues. -GOVT PAC GOVERNMENT SUPPORT PAR The invention described herein was supported in whole or in part by Grant No. DE07652 from the National Institutes of Health, which have certain rights in the invention.
