The invention relates to liquid oral compositions comprising a calcium compound and an acidulant, to a process of preparation, and also to uses thereof in food industry, particularly in non-alcoholic beverage industry and also in the pharmaceutic industry. According to the invention, in the compositions, the calcium content is present in the range of 0.3 and 0.55 moles per mole of acid, the ratio of calcium to the acidulant is selected so that pH of the composition is from 3.5 to 4.5. According to the invention, the process for preparing liquid compositions consists in adding a calcium compound to an acidulant so that the calcium amount and the pH be in the range of the above-mentioned values, the pH adjustment being made if desired or if necessary, by adding some alkali compounds. According to the invention, the liquid compositions are used for reducing tooth erosion caused by acid.

Invenţia se referă la compoziţii lichide, pentru utilizarea orală, care conţin un compus de calciu şi un acidulant, la un procedeu de preparare, precum şi la utilizări ale acestora, cu aplicaţii în industria alimentară, mai ales în industria băuturilor nealcoolice, precum şi în industria farmaceutică. În compoziţiile lichide, conform invenţiei, cantitatea de calciu este cuprinsă între 0,3 şi 0,55 moli la un mol de acid, iar raportul dintre calciu şi acidulant este ales, astfel încât pH-ul compoziţiei să fie cuprins între 3,5 şi 4,5. Procedeul de preparare a compoziţiilor lichide, conform invenţiei, constă înamestecarea unui compus de calciu cu un acidulant, astfel încât cantitatea de calciu şi pH-ul să fie cuprinse între intervalele de valori amintite, ajustarea pH-ului putându-se realiza, dacăse doreşte sau dacă este necesar, prin adăugarea de compuşi alcalini. Compoziţiile lichide, conform invenţiei, sunt utilizate pentru reducereaeroziunii dinţilor, cauzată de acid.
