A PRESENTE INVENÇÃO REFERE-SE A UM DE SENSOR DE ACELERÓMETRO DE VECTOR DUPLO (DAVS). O DITO DISPOSITIVO COMPREENDE DOIS ACELERÓMETROS TRI-AXIAIS E UM HIDROFONE INTEGRADO NUMA UNIDADE. TAL DISPOSITIVO É ÚTIL PARA MEDIR E MELHORAR A EFICIÊNCIA DE METODOLOGIAS USADAS PARA REALIZAR LEVANTAMENTOS ACÚSTICOS GEOFÍSICOS NO MAR. O SEU TAMANHO REDUZIDO E COMPACTO PERMITE UMA INTEGRAÇÃO MAIS FÁCIL COM OS VEÍCULOS SUBMARINOS AUTÓNOMOS (AUVS) E, CONSEQUENTEMENTE FACILITA A MANOBRABILIDADE DO VEÍCULO EM COMPARAÇÃO COM OS ARRANJOS REBOCADOS CLÁSSICOS. POR CONSEGUINTE, OUTRO OBJECTO DA PRESENTE INVENÇÃO REFERE-SE A (AUVS) COMPREENDENDO O DISPOSITIVO DAVS DA PRESENTE INVENÇÃO PARA ADQUIRIR E MONITORIZAR DADOS SÍSMICOS SUBAQUÁTICOS.
