Abstract
(EN)
A supporting structure for front panel of indoor unit of air conditioner is composed of an upper supporting rod and a lower supporting rod. The front panel rotatablely linked with a panel body by a hinge. The upper supporting rod and the lower supporting rod are rotatablely linked by a hinge. A restricting and locking mechanism is set at the joint of the upper supporting rod and the lower supporting rod. The restricting and locking mechanism includes a baffle and an elastic plate on its upper supporting rod and a bulge and side wings on its lower supporting rod. When the front panel is closed, the upper supporting rod and the lower suppmting rod are folded, and hidden in the indoor unit; and when the front panel is open, the upper supporting rod and the lower supporting rod extend to a straight line, and are locked automatically through the restricting and locking mechanism after opening, so that the front panel can be hold at the opening position and the repair and maintenance of the air conditioner is convenient. At the same time, the opening angle of the front panel is restricted, so that damage of the front panel, the panel body and other components due to the excess opening of the front panel can be prevented.
