The invention relates to metal electrochemical protection against corrosion, method for measuring the potential of an uncharged metal surface ($g(F)$g(e)=0) and to a protection method based on the setting up a protection potential equal to $g(F)$g(e)=0. The inventive device (fig. 5) for carrying out said method comprises a unit for measuring $g(F)$g(e)=0 in which a voltage is supplied from an alternating-current source (13) to an auxiliary electrode (3) and to an alternating current bridge which forms a direct and back voltage pulses supplied to a studied electrode (4). The $g(F)$g(e)=0 value is measured with the aid of an electronic oscillograph (9). The protection is carried out by supplying a protection voltage from an alternating current source (17). The protection potential value $g(F)$g(e)=0 is set up with the aid of a resistor (16) or a current controller (18). The high accuracy measurement and the use of $g(F)$g(e)=0 increase the efficiency of metal protection.

L'invention concerne la protection électrochimique des métaux contre la corrosion et porte sur un procédé pour mesurer le potentiel de la surface non chargée du métal ($g(F)$g(e)=0) ainsi qu'un procédé de protection fondé sur le réglage du potentiel de protection à une valeur égale à ($g(F)$g(e)=0). Le dispositif (fig. 5) qui met en oeuvre ce procédé de protection comprend un dispositif pour déterminer ($g(F)$g(e)=0) dans lequel la tension de la source de courant alternatif (13) alimente une électrode d'appoint (3) et un pont de courant alternatif, qui forme les impulsions de tension directe et de retour alimentant l'électrode d'intérêt (4). La valeur ($g(F)$g(e)=0) est déterminée au moyen d'un oscilloscope électronique (9). La protection est réalisée par l'alimentation d'un courant de protection provenant d'une source de courant continu (17). Au moyen d'une résistance (16) ou d'un régulateur de courant (18) on règle une valeur du potentiel de protection qui est égale à ($g(F)$g(e)=0). La mesure avec un degré de précision élevé et l'utilisation de ($g(F)$g(e)=0) augmente l'efficacité de protection du métal.
