(EN) Patent 519038 Described is a method of producing a non-aqueous injection formulation containing as active ingredient the free valnemulin base and optionally containing a stabilizer to protect against oxidizing influences and optionally containing a stabilizer to protect against microbial infestation. The free valnemulin base is produced in situ from a salt form in a physiologically acceptable non-aqueous solvent or solvent mixture and is stabilized by adding a further solvent. Also described is an oily, stabilized injection formulation containing as active ingredient the free valnemulin base which has been obtained by the above-described method. Also described is the use of the above-described injection formulation in a method of treating diseases of productive livestock or domestic animals.
