Abstract
(ES) La presente invención se refiere a un proceso para preparar natamicina por fermentación, caracterizado porque:a) el inóculo comprende de un cultivo de Streptomyces productor de natamicina y un medio que comprende nitrógeno proteico y una fuente de carbono metabolizable, en exceso de aquella requerida para evitar el agotamiento de carbono durante la propagación del inóculo;y b) el medio de producción de natamicina comprende de 80 a 250 g/l de una fuente de carbono metabolizable y 15 a 80 g/l de una fuente de nitrógeno proteico.
