The subject matter of the invention is a method for decontaminating starch hydrolysates from which glucose polymers for producing peritoneal dialysis solutions will be prepared.

La presente invención se refiere a un método para descontaminar hidrolizados de almidón a partir de los cuales se prepararán polímeros d glucosa para producir soluciones para diálisis peritoneal, dicho método se caracteriza porque comprende las siguientes etapas: a) preparar un hidrolizado de almidón, b) filtrar dicho hidrolizado de almidón para eliminar cualquier contaminante con el tamaño de un microorganismo de levadura, moho o bacteria, c) tratar dicho hidrolizado de almidón para eliminar cualquier contaminante con el tamaño mínimo de 50 Angstroms por medio de una técnica elegida del grupo que consiste en carbón activado de tipo "mesoporo", carbón activado de tipo "microporo" microfiltración frontal y ultrafiltración tangencial, d) tratar el hidrolizado de almidón resultante en carbón activado con una capacidad de adsorción alta, y e) recoger el hidrolizado de almidón de este modo descontaminando .
