In operation of a negative pressure booster, a reaction disk (35) is deflected by reaction force from an output shaft (34) to press a pin (28) rearward and the pin (28) presses a vacuum valve seat member (21) rearward via an arm (25). Then, the vacuum valve seat member (21) knocks a valve body (15) rearward via a vacuum valve section (17), causing an atmosphere valve section (16) to move rearward relative to a valve body (4). Because an atmosphere valve (20) and a vacuum valve (23) move rearward, the stroke of an input shaft (11) is reduced. Also, when the valve body (15) is knocked rearward, the position of balance between the atmosphere valve (20) and the vacuum valve (23) moves rearward according to an output (input).
