Abstract

The present invention provides a composite material for a light-emitting element including a high molecular compound having an arylamine skeleton and an inorganic compound showing an electron accepting property to the high molecular compound. The absorption spectrum of the composite material is different from absorption spectra of the high molecular compound and the inorganic compound which each form the composite material. In other words, a composite material having an absorption peak in a wavelength which is seen in the absorption spectra of neither the high molecular compound nor the inorganic compound forming the composite material is superior in carrier transporting and injecting properties and a favorable material. In addition, the composite material can be formed by a wet method such as a sol-gel method, it can be apply to the increaseof substrate size easily in a manufacturing process and advantageous industrially. ©KIPO&WIPO 2008

본 발명은, 아릴아민 골격을 가지는 고분자화합물과, 상기 고분자화합물에 대하여 전자수용성을 가지는 무기화합물과를 포함하는 발광소자용 복합재료를 제공한다. 그 복합재료의 흡수스펙트럼은, 복합재료를 각각 구성하는 고분자화합물과 무기화합물의 어느쪽의 흡수스펙트럼과도 다르다. 즉, 상기 복합재료를 구성하는 고분자화합물과 무기화합물의 어느쪽의 흡수스펙트럼에도 흡수 피크가 나타나지 않는 파장에 흡수 피크를 가지는 복합재료가 도전성이나 캐리어 수송성 및 주입성이 뛰어나고, 바람직한 재료이다. 또한, 복합재료는, 졸겔법 등의 습식법에 의해 형성되고, 제작 공정에 있어서의 기판의 대면적화가 비교적 용이해서, 공업화에 유리하다.
