In a fuel cell system including a solid state polymer type fuel cell, the wet state of the electrolyte film of the fuel cell stack is judged according to the irregularities of the AC impedance of the fuel cell stack. For example, when the moisture amount of the electrolyte film is appropriate, the value of the AC impedance is almost constant and has small irregularities. Moreover, when the moisture amount of the electrolyte film is too much, the value of the AC impedance changes greatly. It should be noted that the AC impedance of the fuel cell stack is measured by analyzing the frequency of the high-frequency noise generated from the inverter arranged in the fuel cell system. ©KIPO&WIPO 2008

본 발명은 고체 고분자형 연료전지를 구비하는 연료전지시스템에 있어서, 연료전지 스택의 교류 임피던스의 불균일에 의거하여, 연료전지 스택의 전해질막의 습윤상태를 판단하는 것이다. 예를 들면, 전해질막의 수분량이 적정한 경우에는 교류 임피던스의 값은, 대략 일정하고, 불균일이 작다. 또 전해질막의 수분량이 과다한 경우에는 교류 임피던스의 값은, 크게 불균일하다. 또한 연료전지 스택의 교류 임피던스는 연료전지시스템에 구비된 인버터로부터 발생하는 고주파 노이즈를 주파수 해석함으로써 측정한다.
