성분 (A)인 N-(1-알콕시에틸)카르복실산아미드, 그리고 성분 (B)인 N-(1-알콕시에틸)카르복실산아미드 및 N-비닐카르복실산아미드 이외의 카르복실산아미드를 포함하는 조성물이며, 다음 (1) 내지 (4)의 조건, (1) 상기 조성물의 융점이 0 내지 30℃, (2) 물의 함유량이, 상기 조성물 전량 중, 0 내지 1.00질량%, (3) 상기 성분 (A)의 상기 성분 (B)에 대한 함유량비가, 몰비로 4.0 내지 20.0, (4) 상기 조성물의 5질량% 수용액의 pH가 4.0 내지 8.0을 만족시키는, N-비닐카르복실산아미드 제조용 조성물, 그리고, 해당 N-비닐카르복실산아미드 제조용 조성물을, 열 분해 또는 접촉 분해하는 것을 특징으로 하는, N-비닐카르복실산아미드의 제조 방법에 관한 것이다.
