Abstract

Disclosed is an electronic device capable of providing high radio wave radiation efficiency in various directions. The electronic device includes: a housing including a first plate including a first planar region in a first direction, a second plate including a second planar region in a second direction opposite to the first direction, and a side surface member surrounding the inner space between the first and second plates; a display disposed between the first and second plates and seen through the first plate; and an antenna module disposed between the display and the second plate and configured to radiate radio waves to the outside of the housing. The antenna module includes: an antenna board including a first surface facing the first plate, a second surface facing the second plate, and a third surface facing the inner surface of the side surface member; and a wireless communication circuit disposed on the first surface of the antenna board. The antenna board includes: a first antenna adjacent to or formed on the first surface; a second antenna adjacent to or formed on the second surface; and a third antenna formed between the first antenna and the second antenna. The first antenna is at a first distance from the third surface, the second antenna is at a second distance from the third surface, and the third antenna may be at a third distance, which exceeds the first and second distances, from the third surface.
