(KO) 전력 관리 디바이스의 구동 커패시티를 확대시키기 위한 방법 및 장치가 제공된다. 방법은 전력 관리 디바이스의 동작에 대한 에너지 요구사항을 결정하는 단계를 수반한다. 다음 차례로, 방법은 전력 관리 디바이스의 동작에 대한 에너지 요구사항을 제1 전력 디바이스의 용량과 비교한다. 에너지 요구사항이 제1 전력 디바이스의 에너지 요구사항을 초과하는 경우, 에너지는 더 높은 커패시티의 제2 전력 디바이스로 스위칭된다. 장치는: 제1 전력 디바이스; 제1 전력 디바이스에 병렬로 연결된 제2 전력 디바이스; 제1 전력 디바이스에 연결된 제1 인덕터 및 제1 인덕터에 연결된 커패시터; 및 제2 전력 디바이스에 연결된 제2 인덕터 및 제2 인덕터에 연결된 커패시터를 포함한다.
