유리 용융 방법으로서, 제1상에서는 산소-농후 연소 산화제의 유량 DO1이 연소 챔버 (100) 중에서 연료를 연소시키는데 사용되고, 산소-농후 산화제는 산소가 보다 덜 풍부한 산화제와의 열교환에 의해 예열되며, 상기 산소가 보다 덜 풍부한 산화제는 생성된 배기 가스와의 열교환에 의해 가열되고; 제2상에서는 연소 산화제로서 감소된 유량의 산소-농후 산화제 DO2와 산소가 덜 풍부한 가열된 산화제의 유량 DA2가 사용되는 방법; 및 이러한 용융 방법을 실행하기 위한 장치가 제공된다.
