액체 흐름 경로에 위치되는 장치는, 상기 흐름 경로에 수용되도록 구성되고 흐름 방향을 한정하는 액체 입구 및 액체 출구를 구비하는 하우징; 상기 하우징에 의해 지지되는 샤프트, 상기 샤프트 상에 장착되고 복수의 날개를 구비하는 회전자, 및 상기 회전자와 연관된 고정자를 포함하는 전류 발전기로서, 상기 샤프트는 상기 흐름 방향을 따라 상기 하우징 내에서 연장되고 상기 발전기를 통과하는 액체에 의해 상기 날개로 상기 회전자를 회전시킬 수 있게 하며, 상기 고정자는 상기 회전자의 회전에 대응하는 전기 신호를 생성하는 것인, 상기 전류 발전기; 및 상기 전류 발전기를 전력 수신기에 전기적으로 연결하여 상기 전기 신호를 상기 전력 수신기에 전달하기 위한 전기 배선을 포함한다.
