본 발명은, 기재 필름 상에 적층되고, 투광성 수지 중에 투광성 미립자가 분산된 광확산층을 가지며, 상기 투광성 미립자는, 중량 평균 입경이 0.5 ㎛ 이상 6 ㎛ 미만인 제1 투광성 미립자와, 6 ㎛ 이상 15 ㎛ 이하인 제2 투광성 미립자를 포함하고, 제1 투광성 미립자와 제2 투광성 미립자의 중량 평균 입경차가 2 ㎛ 이상이고, 확산층에서의 투광성 미립자의 함유량은, 투광성 수지 100 중량부에 대하여 22~60 중량부이고, 광확산층의 표면의 중심선 평균 거칠기가 0.2 ㎛ 이하인 광확산 필름 및 그 제조 방법, 그리고 상기 광확산 필름을 이용한 광확산성 편광판, 액정 표시 장치이다.
