(KO) 글로벌 내비게이션 위성 시스템 (global navigation satellite system (GNSS))의 위성에 의한 GNSS 신호 브로드캐스트를 수신하기 위한 GNSS 수신기, 무선 수신기 또는 무선 네트워크의 기지국들에 의해서 전송되는 브로드캐스트 신호들을 수신하기 위해서 무선 수신기에 연결되도록 구성된 커넥션 및 프로세싱 기기를 포함하는 내비게이션 기기로서, 상기 프로세싱 기기는: i) 상기 내비게이션 기기가 위치한 국가에 대한 정보를 획득하고; 그리고 ii) 상기 국가를 기초로 하여, 상기 내비게이션 기기가 위치한 시간 지역 (time zone) 에 관한 정보를 상기 브로드캐스트 신호로부터 선택적으로 획득하고, 상기 시간 지역 정보로부터 시드 (seed) 위치를 판별하고; 그리고 상기 판별된 시드 위치를 기반으로 하여 GNSS 위성들을 획득하기 위해서 상기 GNSS 수신기를 제어하도록 구성된다.
