(EN) PURPOSE: A manhole cover for preventing stink and inflow of harmful insects is provided to manufacture the manhole cover simply by injection-molding synthetic resin, to construct the manhole cover easily by integrally forming an upper plate of a manhole and a drain passage, and to drain water actively by inclining the drain passage.
CONSTITUTION: A manhole cover(1) includes an upper plate(12) of a manhole with plural drain holes(11), a drain passage(13) integrally formed in a lower part of the upper plate or assembled with the upper plate and composed of a unidirectional outlet, and a gate(15) contacted to an outlet inclined surface(14) of the drain passage and opened or closed around a hinge projection part. A display unit(20) is formed by extending a side of the upper plate, and a space part(21) is formed in a lower part of the display unit to stably open the gate. The manhole cover is made of engineering plastic, and walls(22,22') are vertically formed in edges of the manhole cover. A fitting projection is formed in the manhole cover, and a fitting recessed part is formed in a manhole frame. A reinforcing partition wall is formed between the upper plate of the manhole and the drain passage.
