Abstract
(EN)

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of improving a communication property of a transponder while ensuring tire durability.

SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire comprises: a tread portion extending in a tire circumferential direction to form an annular shape; a pair of sidewall portions arranged on both sides of the tread portion; and a pair of bead portions arranged on an inner side of a tire radial direction of these sidewall portions. A transponder 20 is embedded in the sidewall portion. The transponder 20 is covered with a coating layer 23. A relative permittivity of the coating layer 23 is lower than a relative permittivity of a peripheral rubber member adjacent to the covering layer 23. A total thickness Gac of the coating layer 23 and a maximum thickness Gar of the transponder 20 satisfy a relation of 1.1≤Gac/Gar≤3.0.

【課題】タイヤの耐久性を確保しながら、トランスポンダの通信性を改善することを可能にした空気入りタイヤを提供する。
【解決手段】タイヤ周方向に延在して環状をなすトレッド部と、該トレッド部の両側に配置された一対のサイドウォール部と、これらサイドウォール部のタイヤ径方向内側に配置された一対のビード部とを備えた空気入りタイヤにおいて、サイドウォール部にトランスポンダ20が埋設され、トランスポンダ20が被覆層23により被覆され、被覆層23の比誘電率が被覆層23に隣接する周辺ゴム部材の比誘電率よりも低く、被覆層23の総厚さGacとトランスポンダ20の最大厚さGarとが1.1≦Gac/Gar≦3.0の関係を満たす。
