Abstract
(JA)

【課題】着色されたポリエステル廃棄物から高純度のビス−(2−ヒドロキシエチル)テレフタレート(BHET)を簡便に製造し得る高純度BHETの製造方法を提供すること。
【解決手段】本発明の高純度BHETの製造方法は、着色されたポリエステル廃棄物を解重合して着色した粗製BHETを含む解重合物を得る解重合工程と、解重合物中に含まれる低沸点成分を除去してBHETを濃縮する濃縮工程と、粗製BHETからBHETを回収して中純度BHETを得る回収工程と、中純度BHETを脱色溶媒中で晶析するとともに、結晶と色素を含有する溶媒成分とを固液分離して精製BHETを得る晶析分離工程と、精製BHETの結晶中に残留する溶媒を除去して高純度BHETを得る脱溶媒工程とを有する。
