固体電解質材料は、下記の組成式(1)により表され、
Li3−3δ−a1+δ−aCl6−x−yBr・・・式(1)
ここで、Mは、Zr、Hf、およびTiからなる群より選択される1種または2種以上の元素であり、−1<δ<1、0<a<1.5、0<(3−3δ−a)、0<(1+δ−a)、0≦x≦6、0≦y≦6、および(x+y)≦6、を満たす。
