PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel and compact on-vehicle antenna device which is small in height and replaces a monopole antenna.

SOLUTION: An antenna device 1 to be attached to a vehicle roof or the like includes a housing 10 having multiple metal surfaces which are formed at mutually different angles on a surface to be nearly orthogonally crossed with an attachment surface. A top surface of the housing 10 opposing to the attachment surface is opened in a nearly cross shape and a planar antenna 30 is arranged at an opened part. Vertical polarization slots 111, 114 and slits 112, 113 are formed on the respective metal surfaces of the housing 10.

【課題】モノポールアンテナに代わる新たな小型低背の車載用アンテナ装置を提供する。
【解決手段】アンテナ装置1は、車両ルーフなどに取り付けられるもので、取付面と略直交する面上に互いに異なる角度で形成された複数の金属面を有する筐体10を備える。取付面に対向する筐体10の天頂面は略十字状に開口しており、開口された部位に平面アンテナ30が配置されている。筐体10の各金属面には垂直偏波用のスロット111,114とスリット112,113が形成されている。
