PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical curable resin composition that, as the optical curable resin composition to be coated using an ink jet coating method upon manufacturing an image display device having an image display member and an optical transmissive cover member laminated via an optical transmissivity optical curable resin layer formed of the optical curable resin composition, does not cause any problem deriving from a use of a (meth)acrylate oligomer having a (meth)acryloyl group, and enables excellent ejection in the ink jet coating method.

SOLUTION: An optical curable resin composition contains: a (meth)acrylate monomer in which a hydroxyl value is equal to or greater than 120 mgKOH/g, and which does not have a (meth)acryloyl group; a hydroxyl group-containing monofunctional (meth)acrylate monomer; a hydroxyl group-free monofunctional (meth)acrylate monomer; and a hydrogen abstraction type photopolymerization initiator. The optical curable resin composition has viscosity equal to and greater than 10 mPa-s at 25°C, and equal to or less than 30 mPa-s at 60°C.

【課題】画像表示部材と光透過性カバー部材とが、光硬化性樹脂組成物から形成された光透過性の光硬化樹脂層を介して積層された画像表示装置を製造する際に、インクジェットコート法を利用して塗布される光硬化性樹脂組成物として、(メタ)アクリロイル基を有する(メタ)アクリレートオリゴマーの使用に由来する問題がなく、インクジェットコート法において良好な吐出が可能な光硬化性樹脂組成物を提供する。
【解決手段】光硬化性樹脂組成物は、水酸基価が120mgKOH/g以上であって、(メタ)アクリロイル基を有さない(メタ)アクリレートポリマーと、水酸基含有単官能(メタ)アクリレートモノマーと、水酸基非含有単官能(メタ)アクリレートモノマーと、水素引き抜き型光重合開始剤とを含有し、25℃で10mPa・s以上であり且つ60℃で30mPa・s以下の粘度を有する。
