PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical lens, in particular, an image capturing optical lens which offers high imaging performance and a short total track length (TTL).

SOLUTION: An image capturing optical lens comprises, in order from the object side to the image side, a first lens L1, a second lens L2, a third lens L3, a fourth lens L4, a fifth lens L5, a sixth lens L6, and a seventh lens L7, the first lens being made of glass, the second lens plastic, the third lens glass, the fourth lens plastic, the fifth lens plastic, the sixth lens plastic, and the seventh lens plastic. The image capturing optical lens satisfies the following conditional expressions: 1.51≤f1/f≤2.50, 1.70≤n1≤2.20, 0.50≤f3/f4≤2.00, -10.00≤(R13+R14)/(R13-R14)≤10.00, 1.70≤n3≤2.20.

【課題】光学レンズ分野に関し、高結像性能を得ると共に、低TTLを取得することができる撮像光学レンズを提供する。
【解決手段】物体側から像側に向かって、順に第1レンズL1、第2レンズL2、第3レンズL3、第4レンズL4、第5レンズL5、第6レンズL6及び第7レンズL7からなり、第1レンズがガラス材質であり、第2レンズがプラスチック材質であり、第3レンズがガラス材質であり、第4レンズがプラスチック材質であり、第5レンズがプラスチック材質であり、第6レンズがプラスチック材質であり、第7レンズがプラスチック材質であり、且つ条件式1.51≦f1/f≦2.50、1.70≦n1≦2.20、0.50≦f3/f4≦2.00、−10.00≦(R13+R14)/(R13−R14)≦10.00、1.70≦n3≦2.20を満たす。
