PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyolefin microporous film which has high capacity and excellent safety.

SOLUTION: A polyolefin microporous film has a laminate structure composed of a first layer composed of a polypropylene resin, a second resin that is layered on the first layer and is composed of a polyethylene resin and a third layer that is further layered on the second layer and is composed of a polypropylene resin, in which the thickness of the first layer and the thickness of the third layer are thinner than the thickness of the second layer, and the laminate structure has a thickness of 16 μm or less, a porosity of 40-70% and a surface pore opening ratio of 10-30%.

【課題】高容量で安全性に優れたポリオレフィン微多孔膜を提供する。
【解決手段】ポリプロピレン樹脂で構成された第1層と、前記第1層の上に層設され、ポリエチレン樹脂で構成された第2層と、前記第2層の上に更に層設され、ポリプロピレン樹脂で構成された第3層とからなる積層構造を有し、前記第1層の厚さと前記第3層の厚さが、それぞれ前記第2層の厚さよりも薄く、前記積層構造は、厚さが16μm以下、空孔率が40〜70%、表面開孔率が10〜30%であるポリオレフィン微多孔膜とする。
