PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-wheel motor driving device that is improved in assemblability and disassemblability thereof.

SOLUTION: In an in-wheel motor driving device 21, a semisolid-like lubricant J is interposed in a spline fitting part M having an output gear shaft 37 connected to a hub wheel 51, and an opening of a hollow part of the hub wheel 51 is sealed with an annular first seal member S1 tightly adhering to the output gear shaft 37 and the hub wheel 51, at a side closer to an inboard than the spline fitting part M and with a second seal member S2 fixed to an inner diameter surface of a hollow part of the hub wheel 51, at a side closer to an outboard than the spline fitting part M. The output gear shaft 37 is provided with a hole part 65 having one end opening to an end face 37c at the outboard side and other end opening to an exposed surface E into an inner space of a casing 22.

【課題】インホイールモータ駆動装置の組立性・分解性を向上する。
【解決手段】出力歯車軸37とハブ輪51とを連結したスプライン嵌合部Mに半固体状潤滑剤Jが介在し、ハブ輪51の中空部の開口が、スプライン嵌合部Mよりもインボード側で出力歯車軸37およびハブ輪51に密着した環状の第1シール部材S1と、スプライン嵌合部Mよりもアウトボード側でハブ輪51の中空部の内径面に固定された第2シール部材S2とで封口されたインホイールモータ駆動装置21である。出力歯車軸37に、一端がアウトボード側の端面37cに開口すると共に、他端がケーシング22の内部空間への露出面Eに開口した孔部65を設ける。
