Abstract
(EN)

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an orthopaedic knee prosthesis.

SOLUTION: An orthopaedic knee prosthesis is provided, including: a femoral component including condyles having condyle surfaces curved in the sagittal plane; and a tibial bearing including a platform having a bearing surface configured to articulate with the condyle surface of the femoral component. The condyle surface of the femoral component contacts the bearing surface at first to third contact points on the respective condyle surfaces at first to third degrees of flexion. The condyle surface (i) has first to third radiuses of curvature in the respective sagittal planes at the first to third contact points, and (ii) has a first curved surface section defined between the first contact point and the second contact point, the first curved surface section having a non-constant radius of curvature. A second radius of curvature is different from a first radius of curvature and a third radius of curvature is different from the first radius of curvature and the second radius of curvature, and the third radius of curvature is smaller than the second radius of curvature.

【解決手段】整形外科用膝プロテーゼは、矢状面において湾曲した顆表面を有する顆を含む大腿骨コンポーネントと、大腿骨コンポーネントの顆表面と関節接合するように構成されたベアリング表面を有するプラットホームを含む脛骨ベアリングと、を含む。大腿骨コンポーネントの顆表面が、第1〜3の屈曲角度において各々顆表面上の第1〜3の接触点でベアリング表面と接触し、顆表面が、(i)第1〜3の接触点で各々矢状面における第1〜3の曲率半径を有し、かつ(ii)第1の接触点と第2の接触点との間に画定された第1の湾曲面部分を有し、第1の湾曲面部分が一定でない曲率半径を有し、第2の曲率半径が第1の曲率半径とは異なり、第3の曲率半径が第1の曲率半径および第2の曲率半径とは異なり、第3の曲率半径が第2の曲率半径よりも小さい。
