PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a learning toy capable of learning high programming in a stepwise manner so that not only an infant of a low age and but also a child of an older age group can be included in a target.

SOLUTION: Multiple command panels 121 with command information readable with an optical reading module 240 recorded thereon are arranged to constitute a moving path 120. A mobile robot 110 sequentially reads the command information contained in the passing command panels 121 while moving along the moving path 120, and stores multiple pieces of command information in a memory 508 for the command information. The mobile robot 110 takes out the multiple pieces of command information from any position of the memory 508 for the command information and executes operation. A control unit 501 of the mobile robot 110 automatically extracts and takes out those pieces of command information to operate the mobile robot 110, if the multiple pieces of command information necessary for the operation of the mobile robot 110 are stored in the memory 508 for the command information.
