PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a learning toy capable of performing various movements and gradually learning advanced programming so as to include both an infant of low age and a child of an age group older than the low age as a target.

SOLUTION: A moving path 120 is formed by arranging a plurality of command panels 121 on which command information readable by an optical reading module 240 is recorded. A mobile robot 110 sequentially reads command information recorded on passing command panels 121 while moving on the moving path 120, performs a movement on the basis of the command information, and transmits the read command information to a tablet computer 130. The tablet computer 130 receiving the command information displays an image or generates a sound on the basis of the command information. Also, the mobile robot 110 can be operated from the tablet computer 130.

【課題】多様な動作をさせることができる学習玩具であって、低年齢の幼児だけでなくそれ以上の年齢層の子供も対象に含められるように、段階的に高度なプログラミングが学習できる学習玩具を提供する。
【解決手段】光学読取モジュール２４０で読取可能なコマンド情報が記録されている複数枚のコマンド・パネル１２１を配置することにより、移動路１２０が構成される。移動ロボット１１０は、移動路１２０を移動しながら、通過するコマンド・パネル１２１に記録されているコマンド情報を順次読み取り、このコマンド情報に基づいて動作をすると共に、読み取ったコマンド情報をタブレットコンピュータ１３０に向けて送信する。このコマンド情報を受信するタブレットコンピュータ１３０は、このコマンド情報に基づいて画像の表示または音声の発生をする。また、タブレットコンピュータ１３０から移動ロボット１１０を操作することもできる。
