公表された発明は、担持されたイオン液体相ベッドに排ガスを通すステップを備え、イオン液体は、置換ホスホニウム、アンモニウム、イミダゾリウム、ピロリジニウム、及びピリジニウムからなるリストからの一以上のカチオンと、塩化物、臭化物、及びカルボン酸塩からなるリストからの一以上のアニオンとを含むことを特徴とする、プロセス排ガス中のヒ素酸化物を除去するためのプロセスに関する。活性炭のベッドと比較して、本発明に係るイオン液体に浸された活性炭ベッドは、ベッドのヒ素吸着容量の推定二倍を可能にし、一方で吸着の反応速度を著しく改善もする。
