PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acidic gas treatment method for removing factors of increasing corrosiveness of an amine absorption liquid at an early stage by precisely quantifying metal ions in the amine absorption liquid in a short time.

SOLUTION: An acidic gas treatment method includes: a step 10 of bringing an amine absorption liquid into gas liquid contact with a treatment object gas to make the absorption liquid absorb the acidic gas, and to remove the acidic gas; a step 20 of diffusing the gas out of the absorption liquid with the absorbed acidic gas to regenerate the absorption liquid and recover the diffused gas; and an analysis step 40 of calculating the concentration of iron ions and/or heavy metal ions in the absorption liquid, where the analysis step includes: a step of adjusting the pH value of a sampled absorption liquid until ions are absorbed by a chelate resin; a step of passing the absorption liquid through the resin to make the resin absorb ions in the absorption liquid; a step of passing acidic regenerated liquid through the resin with the absorbed ions to desorb ions to regenerate the resin, and to obtain ion-containing sample; and a step of quantifying ions in the sample to calculate the concentration of ions in the sampled absorption liquid from a quantification result.

【課題】アミン吸収液中の金属イオンを短時間で高精度に定量し、早期にアミン吸収液の腐食性を増大する因子を除去する、酸性ガス処理方法の提供。
【解決手段】処理対象ガスにアミン吸収液を気液接触させ、吸収液に酸性ガスを吸収させ、酸性ガスを除去する工程10と、酸性ガスを吸収した吸収液からガスを放散させ、吸収液の再生と放散したガスを回収する工程20と、吸収液中の鉄イオン及び/又は重金属イオンの濃度を算出する分析工程40とを含み、分析工程が、採取した吸収液のpH値をイオンがキレート樹脂に吸着するまで調整する工程と、吸収液を樹脂に通液して吸収液中のイオンを樹脂に吸着させる工程と、イオンを吸着させた樹脂に酸性の再生液を通液してイオンを脱離させ、樹脂を再生し、イオンを含有する試料を得る工程と、試料中のイオンを定量し、定量結果から採取した吸収液中のイオンの濃度を算出する工程からなる、酸性ガス処理方法。
