高濃度のバナジウム電解液を用いた場合であっても、簡易な構成で、析出物を溶解・除去するとともに、電解液のバランスを調整することにより、高い充放電効率及び腐食の抑制を可能とするレドックスフロー電池システムを提供する。4価及び/又は5価のバナジウムを含む正極電解液を貯蔵する正極電解液タンク11と、正極電解液を正極電解液タンク11と電池セル2との間で循環させる正極電解液往路配管13・正極電解液復路配管14と、2価及び/又は3価のバナジウムを含む負極電解液を貯蔵する負極電解液タンク21と、負極電解液を負極電解液タンク21と電池セル2との間で循環させる負極電解液往路配管23・負極電解液復路配管24と、硫酸を含む洗浄液を貯蔵するメンテナンスタンク40と、洗浄液をメンテナンスタンク40と電池セル2との間で循環させる洗浄液往路配管41・洗浄液復路配管42とを備える。
