PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical filter having useful characteristics in bringing the spectral sensitivity of an imaging element closer to the visual sensitivity of a man.

SOLUTION: An optical filter 1a includes a light absorption layer 10. The light absorption layer 10 is formed by a cured material of a light absorptive composition in which a light absorber formed with a phosphoric acid and a copper ion expressed by a specific formula is dispersed. The optical filter 1a has (I) 80% or more of average spectral transmittance in wavelength 450 nm-600 nm, has (II) 1% or less of spectral transmittance in wavelength 750 nm-900 nm, and has (III) 4% or less of average spectral transmittance in the wavelength rage 350 nm-370 nm. (IV) An infrared-side cutoff wavelength to light entering at an incidence angle of 0° is 620 nm-680 nm, and (V) an ultraviolet-side cutoff wavelength to light entering at an incidence angle of 0° is 380 nm-420 nm.

【課題】撮像素子の分光感度を人間の視感度に近づけるうえで有利な特性を有する光学フィルタを提供する。
【解決手段】光学フィルタ1aは、光吸収層10を備える。光吸収層10は、特定の式で表されるホスホン酸と銅イオンとによって形成された光吸収剤が分散している光吸収性組成物の硬化物によって形成されている。光学フィルタ1aは、(I)波長450nm〜600nmにおいて80%以上の平均分光透過率を有し、(II)波長750nm〜900nmにおいて1%以下の分光透過率を有し、(III)波長350nm〜370nmの範囲において4%以下の平均分光透過率を有する。(IV)0°の入射角で入射する光に対する赤外側カットオフ波長が620nm〜680nmであり、(V)0°の入射角で入射する光に対する紫外側カットオフ波長が380nm〜420nmである。
