フレネルレンズを介して視認される画像に発生する、レンズの中心に向かって伸びるフレアを抑制できるフレネルレンズ及びフレネルレンズの製造方法を提供する。各レンズ部(22)には、レンズ面(24)及び非レンズ面(26)が形成されている。非レンズ面(26)は、ライズ面(26a)及び連結面(26b)を含む。ライズ面(26a)は、フレネルレンズ(1)の光軸に沿った面である。連結面(26b)は、レンズ部(22)の頂部(22a)に形成されている、当該レンズ部(22)のレンズ面(24)と当該レンズ部(22)のライズ面(26a)とを連結する、フレネルレンズ(1)の径方向に広がる幅を有する面である。連結面(26b)を通る、フレネルレンズ(1)の光軸に沿った位置に光吸収部(12)が設けられている。
