PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intaglio printing plate coating device.

SOLUTION: An intaglio printing plate coating device includes: a vacuum chamber 3 which has an internal space 30 for receiving at least one intaglio printing plate 10 to be coated; a vacuum system which is configured to create a vacuum in the internal space 30; and a physical vapor deposition (PVD) system 5 which is configured to perform vapor deposition of a wear resistant coating material on an engraving object surface 10a of the intaglio printing plate 10 under the vacuum. The physical vapor deposition system 5 includes at least one coating material targets 51, 52 containing the supply source of the wear resistant coating material vapor-deposited on the engraving object surface 10a of the intaglio printing plate 10. The intaglio printing plate coating device 1 further includes a movable carrier which is arranged in the internal space 30 of the vacuum chamber 3. The movable carrier is configured to support the intaglio printing plate 10 and circularly move it to the front of at least one coating material targets 51, 52 and a position passing through the front.
