圧縮媒体駆動を使用するための歯車伝動装置付きのロータリモータであって、周囲環境に対して密閉された少なくとも1つ、好ましくは2つの三角形キャビティ(12)を備えるステータ(1)を含み、そのキャビティは丸みを有する頂部(121)を備えてそこから圧縮媒体の導入および導出のための少なくとも1つの導管(41)がそれぞれに導入されており、各キャビティ(12)内には楕円断面のロータリピストン(2)が埋め込まれていて、回転要素(7)の軸(O)に平行なその長手軸(O)はステータ(1)の内部キャビティ(12)の長手軸(O)に関して偏心量(e)だけ偏位していて、ロータリピストン(2)の前記長手軸(O)が偏心量(e)の半径を持つ円に沿って移動するときにロータリピストン(2)がいわば遊星運動をするようになっている。本発明の本質は、ロータリピストン(2)の従動ピン(21)がステータ(1)のキャビティ(12)から突き出ていて、そこに回転コグホイール(6)が備えられており、これが被駆動機構(9)に接続された歯車を有する楕円回転要素(7)と相互に結合することにより、ロータリピストン(2)と被駆動機構(9)との相互結合が達成されることにある。
