PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for decontaminating a starch hydrolysate from which a glucose polymer for producing a peritoneal dialysate is prepared.

SOLUTION: A method for decontaminating a starch hydrolysate comprises the steps of: 1) preparing a starch hydrolysate, 2) filtering the starch hydrolysate with a microfiltration membrane or an ultrafiltration membrane, 3) treating the starch hydrolysate with "mesoporous" type activated carbon or "micropore" type activated carbon, 4) treating the resulting starch hydrolysate on high adsorption capacity activated carbon, and 5) collecting the decontaminated starch hydrolysate. The starch hydrolysate in the step 1) has a dextrose equivalent (DE) of less than 20, preferably 8 to 15 of DE or 11 to 18 of DE.

【課題】腹膜透析液を製造するためのグルコースポリマーがそれから調製される、デンプン加水分解物を汚染除去する方法。
【解決手段】デンプン加水分解物を汚染除去する方法は、1)デンプン加水分解物を調製するステップと、2)デンプン加水分解物を精密濾過膜又は限外濾過膜で濾過するステップと、3)「メソ細孔」タイプ活性炭又は「ミクロ細孔」タイプ活性炭で、デンプン加水分解物を処理するステップと、4)得られたデンプン加水分解物を高吸着容量活性炭上で処理するステップと、5)汚染除去されたデンプン加水分解物を収集するステップと、を含んでなる、方法。1)のデンプンの加水分解物が20未満のデキストロース当量(DE)、好ましくは、8〜15のDE或いは11〜18のDEである、調整方法。
