水素化物形成を制御することによって、格子内に内包される低エネルギー核反応(「LENR」)を制御するための熱発生用途および方法のために可能性として、粉末化、焼結、または堆積される格子(例えば、ニッケル)の処理。制御および処理の方法は、非可燃性混合物中の反応性ガスとして水素を搬送するアルゴン等の不活性カバーガスによって包囲される、反応格子の使用を伴う。格子内の水素イオンは、米国特許出願公開第2007/0206715号(Godes_2007)に論じられるように、中性子に変えられる。格子を通して移動する水素は、新しく形成された中性子と相互作用し、発熱性反応を発生させる。
