Mg:1.0〜1.5%(質量%、以下同様)、Mn:0.8〜1.2%、Cu:0.20〜0.30%、Fe:0.25〜0.60%、Si:0.20〜0.40%を含有し、残部がAl及び不可避不純物からなる化学成分を有し、導電率が37.0〜40.0%IACSである缶ボディ用アルミニウム合金板である。また、缶ボディ用アルミニウム合金板は、複数回パスの冷間圧延を経て製造されており、冷間圧延の最終パス直前における材料を150℃の温度で10時間時効処理したときの引張強さσB(10)及び耐力σ0.2(10)と、150℃の温度で1時間時効処理したときの引張強さσB(1)及び耐力σ0.2(1)とが、
σB(10)−σB(1)≧5(MPa)、σ0.2(10)−σ0.2(1)≧1(MPa)
の関係を満たしている。
