PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wire with a terminal capable of avoiding the terminal from being thinned partially.

SOLUTION: Provided is a method of manufacturing an electric wire with a terminal. A crimping jig includes: a first jig 31 that has a mounting surface 32 to mount the bottom plate part 24 and the core wire 12; and a second jig 41 that has a curved surface 42 for putting the wire barrel 25 between the mounting surface and itself to make it curved. The curved surface comprises: a first inclined surface 48A inclined toward the outside at one end side in an extending direction of the electric wire; a second inclined surface 48B inclined toward the outside at the other end side in the extending direction; and an abutting surface 43 located between the first inclined surface and the second inclined surface. A dimension L1 in the extending direction of the curved surface is set to be larger than a dimension L3 in the extending direction of the wire barrel, and a dimension L2 in the extending direction of the abutting surface is set to be equal to or less than the dimension in the extending direction of the wire barrel.

【解決手段】端子付き電線の製造方法であって、圧着治具は、底板部24と芯線12とが載置される載置面32を有する第1治具31と、前記載置面との間でワイヤバレル25を挟みつけて湾曲させる湾曲面42を有する第2治具41と、を含み、前記湾曲面は、前記電線が延びる延び方向における一端側において外側に向けて傾斜する第1傾斜面48Aと、前記延び方向における他端側において外側に向けて傾斜する第2傾斜面48Bと、前記第1傾斜面と前記第2傾斜面との間に位置する当接面43と、を備えており、前記湾曲面の前記延び方向における寸法L1は、前記ワイヤバレルの前記延び方向における寸法L3より大きく設定され、かつ、前記当接面の前記延び方向における寸法L2は、前記ワイヤバレルの前記延び方向における寸法と同等以下とされている。
