PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food and drink showing the efficient reduction efficiency of the concentration of alcohol in blood, and excellent in safety.

SOLUTION: In an agent for reducing the concentration of alcohol in blood as a food and drink which contains water-insoluble component derived from tomato fruits, and alanine at a concentration of 3 g/100 ml or more, a content of alanine is 0.7-21.4 at a weight ratio on the basis of the water-insoluble component derived from tomato fruits, the water-insoluble component has a concentration of 0.45 g/100 ml or more, and the water-insoluble component contains water-insoluble dietary fiber. The agent for reducing the concentration of alcohol in blood contains tomato fruit juice, condensed tomato fruit juice, tomato paste, or tomato strained lees, and is not heat-dried at 80°C or more.

【課題】効率的な血中アルコール濃度低下効率を示し、安全性にも優れた飲食品の提供。
【解決手段】トマト果実由来の非水溶性成分及び3g/100ml以上の濃度でアラニンを含有する飲食品であって、アラニンの含有量が、トマト果実由来の非水溶性成分を基準にした重量比として、0.7〜21.4であり、前記非水溶性成分が0.45g/100ml以上の濃度を有し、前記非水溶性成分が非水溶性食物繊維を含む血中アルコール濃度低減剤。トマト果汁、濃縮されたトマト果汁、トマトペースト、又はトマトの絞り粕を含み、80℃以上の温度で加熱乾燥されいない血中アルコール濃度低減剤。
