スライス,WPPサブストリーム,タイル内に画像を記述し符号化されたローバイトシーケンスペイロードが、切片境界全体にわたって符号化確率適合の継続を伴い切片に再分割,切断される。この測定によりスライス,WPPサブストリーム,タイル内に付加的に導入された切片境界は、エントロピー符号化効率を減少させない。切片は、元のスライス,WPPサブストリーム,タイルより小さく、切断されていないスライス,WPPサブストリーム,タイルより早く、より小さい遅延で転送できる。第1の視点と組合せうる他の視点に基づきサブストリームマーカーNALユニットは、トランスポートデマルチプレクサがNALユニット内でスライスのデータを対応サブストリーム,タイルに割当可能にするため、マルチスレッド復号化器を、対応サブストリーム,タイルとともに並列に機能するよう、NALユニット内で使用される。
