本出願に記載された二次電池パックは、密封剰余部を有する一面上に負極端子及び正極端子が形成されている電池セルと、前記負極端子及び正極端子を介して前記電池セルと電気的に接続される保護回路モジュール(PCM)と、を備え、前記PCMは、保護回路が形成されていて前記負極端子及び正極端子に接続する正極端子接続部及び負極端子接続部が配置される基板と、開放された一面を通して前記基板を収納して取り囲むように構成されたPCMケースと、PCMケースの開放された一面を密閉する電気絶縁性の蓋と、を備え、前記基板は、前記負極端子接続部及び正極端子接続部を介して前記電池セルの負極端子及び正極端子と結合し、前記基板が電池セルと平行に置かれた状態でPCMケースが前記基板を収納し、該PCMケースの開放された一面が電気絶縁性の蓋で密閉された後、前記PCMケースが前記電池セルの密封剰余部に搭載される。
