PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique relating to an optical unit in which light from a light source can be efficiently used for illumination.

SOLUTION: In an optical unit, a rotating reflector 26 rotates about a rotating axis in one direction while reflecting light emitted from a light source. In the rotating reflector 26, reflecting surfaces are provided so that the light from the light source reflected during rotation forms a desired light distribution pattern. The light source comprises a light emitting element. The rotating axis is provided in a plane including an optical axis and the light source. In the rotating reflector 26, blades that function as the reflecting surfaces are provided around the rotating axis.

【課題】光源の光を照明に効率よく利用可能な光学ユニットに関する技術を提供する。
【解決手段】光学ユニットにおいて、回転リフレクタ２６は、光源から出射した光を反射しながら回転軸を中心に一方向に回転する。回転リフレクタ２６は、回転しながら反射した光源の光が所望の配光パターンを形成するよう反射面が設けられている。光源は、発光素子からなる。回転軸は、光軸と光源とを含む平面内に設けられている。回転リフレクタ２６は、反射面として機能するブレードが回転軸の周囲に設けられている。
