本発明は、2つの異なる架橋メカニズムによって架橋されることができる新規の材料に関し、その際、1つ目の架橋メカニズムは不可逆的な架橋である。2つ目の架橋メカニズムは熱可逆的なメカニズムである。網状アーク長の熱可逆的な変化によって、架橋された材料の特性、なかでも可撓性、弾力性及び更なる機械的特性、一方でまた化学的特性、ガス透過性及び水蒸気透過性及び網目構造の貯蔵能を決定的に変化させ、かつ制御することができる。このようにして、例えば燃料といったエネルギー源を貯蔵することが可能となる。
