無線で電力供給されたローカルコンピューティング環境の種々の実施形態を説明する。無線で電力供給されるローカルコンピューティング環境は、多くの適切に構成された機器に電力を無線で供給するように構成された少なくとも1つの近距離場磁界共鳴(NFMR)電源を含む。説明される実施形態において、NFMR電源から電力を無線で受信するように構成された機器は、NFMR電力送信機の特徴的なサイズの数倍の距離D以上ではない近距離場として既知である領域に配置されなければならない。一般に距離Dは、1mのオーダである。
