PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel triazine compound to be used as an ultraviolet absorber, which has an improved ultraviolet-shielding effect, light resistance, and heat resistance.

SOLUTION: The compound is expressed by the following formula (1) [In the formula (1), L1 denotes a divalent to decavalent aromatic ring residue or a divalent to decavalent heterocycle residue; n1 denotes an integer of 2 to 10; X1 denotes a hydrogen atom or a substituent. R1a, R1b, R1c, and R1d denote each independently a hydrogen atom or a substituent, and may be combined to form a ring.].
