PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply liquefied gas to a head space without causing a variation in the internal pressure of a container.

SOLUTION: The liquefied gas applying nozzle includes a cylinder 17 arranged so as to face the head space 2 of the container 6, and a plug 18 slidably inserted into the cylinder. A plurality of grooves 19 through which the liquefied gas G flows is formed on the inner periphery of the cylinder in parallel to the cylinder axis. The plug is provided with an opening/closing valve 22 configured such that when the plug leading end moves toward the cylinder exit, all the grooves are closed, thereby blocking the flow of liquefied gas, and when the plug leading end moves toward the cylinder entrance, all the grooves are opened to allow the flow of the liquefied gas. The groove of the cylinder has the substantially constant depth and the width gradually decreasing from the inlet side toward the outlet side of the cylinder. With this configuration, the amount of the liquefied gas discharged from the outlet side of the cylinder can be gradually reduced as a tip of the plug moves from the inlet side toward the outlet side of the cylinder. Furthermore, the liquefied gas flowing out of the grooves at the cylinder outlet can be discharged into the head space in narrow streams substantially parallel to the cylinder axis, irrespective of where the tip of the plug has moved.

【課題】容器内圧にバラツキが生じないようにヘッドスペースに液化ガスを添加する。
【解決手段】容器6のヘッドスペース2に対向するように配置されるシリンダ17と、シリンダ内にスライド可能に挿入されるプラグ18とを具備する。シリンダの内周面には、液化ガスGを通す複数本の溝19がシリンダ軸に平行に形成される。プラグには、プラグ先端がシリンダ出口側に移動すると全溝を閉じて液化ガスの流れを遮断し、プラグ先端がシリンダ入口側へと移動すると全溝を開いて液化ガスの流れを許容する開閉弁22が設けられる。シリンダの溝が、深さが略一定で、幅がシリンダの入口側から出口側に向かって徐々に狭まるように形成されることにより、プラグ先端がシリンダ入口側から出口側へと移動するに連れて、シリンダ出口側からの液化ガス吐出量が漸減可能とされ、プラグ先端の移動位置の如何を問わずシリンダ出口の各溝から流出する液化ガスがシリンダ軸に略平行な細流となってヘッドスペース内に吐出可能とされる。
